If you’re a true horse lover, chances are you’ve seen the animated film SPIRIT: Stallion of the Cimarron. Released by Dream Works, the movie tells the story of a lost stallion and a brave quest to reunite an equine family. The game holds true to the story of the animated motion picture, beginning with the huge thunderstorm that scares and scatters the herd. When the weather settles again, it appears that many of the horses even the brave stallion, Spirit have disappeared. It’s now up to Little Creek and Little Brook to find the lost horses. Once found, each animal will need special attention, including watering, feeding, and other forms of care. After you’ve rounded up the family, you’ll embark on a great race across the countryside, collecting power-ups, jumping over various obstacles, and finding all sorts of hidden goodies. Excellent animation and a good variety of gameplay mark this rollicking adventure for the GBA.
